Desert Modern

As the design of this Desert Modern home began, the items that were top of mind were the panoramic views and challenging build site. The builder and owner wanted the home to flow seamlessly into the views and landscape. As you walk in the home you will notice the 75-foot stone anchor wall. You may also notice angle of the beams on the ceiling and as you continue through the home in almost an optical illusion the beams seem to turn so they are in line with the back wall of the home. The kitchen, living room and master bedroom are situated to take full advantage of the sweeping views. Expansive sliding doors across the back of the home allow the interior of the home to interact with the exterior in a way that unifies the two spaces and actually extends the living space.
